Abstract
|
|
|
Aortic aresia is generally a component of hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Approximately 5% of infants with aortic atresia have a fully developed left ventricle that coexists with a moderate to large sized ventricular septal defect.
We report two cases of aortic atresia with ventricular septal defect and a normally sized left ventricle, and discussed its dignostic pitfalls and management.
